The closing and awarding ceremony of the International Mathematical Olympiad for schoolchildren was held at the International horse breeding academy named after Aba Annaev by the support of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The results of the Olympiad, which began on March 26, 2024, were summarized in individual and team form.
Fourty three schoolchildren from our country and eighty five students from 11 foreign countries took part in the International Mathematics Olympiad held in Arkadag city and showed their abilities. On March 29, 2024, the results of this Olympiad were summarized and the winners of the competition were announced. According to its results, the teams of schoolchildren from the Russian Federation won first place, Turkmenistan took second place, and the People's Republic of China took third place. The group of first-placed students was awarded medals, diplomas, laptop computers and a 10-day trip to the Dayanch health center in Avaza National tourism zone at the expense of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Silver and bronze medals, diplomas, "smart" health watches were awarded to the students of the second and third place teams. In the competition, the students of Turkmenistan won a total of 24 medals, including 4 gold, 12 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
The participants of the event expressed their gratitude to the name of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who created all the opportunities to organize the International Olympiad at the high level.
