INTERNATIONAL HORSE BREEDING ACADEMY NAMED AFTER ABA ANNAYEV
announces admission to the number of students for the 2024/2025 academic year for the following specialties (specialist program) and areas of training (program Bachelor):
I. Specialist program (on a budget basis):
1. Veterinary and animal science (specialties: horse breeding; veterinary medicine).
II. Bachelor's program (on a budget basis):
2. Veterinary and animal science (areas of training: horse training; veterinary and sanitary examination).
3. Physical culture and sports (areas of training: national equestrian games).
4. Performing arts and literary creativity (areas of training: circus arts).
5. Economics and management (areas of training: economics and agricultural management; accounting and audit (in agriculture)).
III. Bachelor's program (on a budget basis):
1. Physical culture and sports (areas of training: equestrian sport and equestrian tourism (training is conducted in English). Duration of training is 5 years (1 year - language training, 4 years - bachelor's program).
The academy accepts citizens of Turkmenistan no older than 35 years of age with at least a general secondary education, based on the results of entrance exams on a competitive basis.
Documents are being accepted in velayat centers and Arkadag (for Ashgabat and Arkadag) from July 15 to July 28, 2024.
List of documents:
- application addressed to the rector in the prescribed form;
- questionnaire in the prescribed form;
- document on education (original);
- medical certificate in the form established by the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan;
- characteristics from the last place of study (work, military unit);
- eight photographs measuring 3x4;
- a certified copy of the work booklet for employees;
- winners of the state Olympiad for schoolchildren, members of national teams of Turkmenistan who participated in international Olympiads in academic subjects submit the original of the relevant documents confirming these grounds.
In addition, applicants, together with the above documents, present and submit to the admissions committee copies of the following documents:
- passport;
- military ID or registration certificate and a certificate from the military commissariat at the place of residence.
The applicant may provide other documents that confirm his non-competitive and (or) preferential right when enrolling as a student.
The applicant takes personal responsibility for incorrectly provided information and unreliable documents.
Entrance exams and enrollment are carried out at the academy (Arkadag city) on the following dates:
Ahal velayat - July 31, August 2 and 4;
the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag - August 1, August 3 and 5;
Mary velayat - August 4, August 6 and 7;
Dashoguz velayat - August 5, August 7 and 8;
Lebap velayat - August 9, August 11 and 13;
Balkan velayat - August 10, August 12 and 13.
Entrance exams are held in the following academic subjects:
specialties: horse breeding, veterinary medicine - chemistry, biology, history of Turkmenistan;
areas of training: horse training; veterinary and sanitary expertise - chemistry, biology, history of Turkmenistan;
areas of training: equestrian sport and equestrian tourism; national equestrian games - determination of aptitude for the chosen direction of training, biology, history of Turkmenistan.
areas of training: circus art, determination of aptitude for the chosen direction of training, Turkmen language and literature, history of Turkmenistan.
areas of training: economics and agricultural management, accounting and audit (in agriculture) - mathematics, biology, history of Turkmenistan.
Entrance examinations in academic subjects are conducted on the basis of curricula for secondary schools in Turkmenistan.
Entrance examinations in subjects are conducted orally in the state language.
Persons who fail to appear for the exam at the scheduled time without good reason or who fail to pass the exam in one of the academic subjects are not allowed to take subsequent exams.
Outside the competition, the following applicants enjoy priority rights when enrolling as students, subject to successful completion of the entrance exams:
- in accordance with the provisions established by the Law of Turkmenistan “On Education” (new edition).
