During the Revival of the new era of powerful state, Turkmenistan under the leadership of our Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov consistently implements a foreign policy based on the legal status of permanent neutrality, peace-loving, good neighborliness, mutual respect and equal effective cooperation.
 By showing responsible approaches to regional and international cooperation issues, our country makes a great contribution to coordination of efforts to develop the important tasks of today. In this regard, multilateral relations with the United Nations are given special importance. These relations have strategic characteristics.
The United Nations is an international organization created on the basis of a voluntary association of sovereign states to maintain peace and promote peaceful cooperation among nations. For the first time, the issue of creating such an organization was resolved in October 1943 in Moscow, then in 1944 in Dumwarton-Oaks (USA) at the meeting of representatives of the USSR, USA and Great Britain.
In February 1945, at the Yalta (Crimea) conference of the three great powers, the issues of creating such an international organization were finally resolved. This organization was established on April 25, 1945 at a conference held in San Francisco (USA). On June 26, representatives of 50 countries unanimously adopted the UN Charter. This Ordinance entered into force on October 24. Since then, October 24 has been celebrated as UN Day. As usual, on that day, the Secretary General of the United Nations delivers his address to the world. Moreover, during special events, they discuss issues of strengthening cooperation with UN members through live video communication and congratulate each other on this wonderful holiday. On the occasion of the International Day of the United Nations, a business meeting was held through the digital network "TURKMENISTAN-UN: PEACE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" at the initiative of the UNESCO club "Ahalteke horses - envoys of peace" of the International horse breeding academy named after Aba Annayev.
The meeting was attended by the responsible secretary of the National Committee of Turkmenistan on UNESCO affairs, Hero of Turkmenistan Rustemova Chynar Tajiyevna, senior teacher of the Turkmen Institute of National World Languages ​​named after Dovletmammet Azadi, head of the "Languages ​​of Peace" UNESCO club, Berdiyeva Ogulsabyr, as well as the Institute of International relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan through the digital network and UNESCO Club "Culture of Peace" of the institute and "Protection of the environment - an important concept of sustainable development" is the UNESCO club of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute participated. During the meeting, Chinar Tajievna, responsible secretary of Turkmenistan's National Commission for UNESCO's work on cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Nations gave the speech. As the first female diplomat of the country, she provided effective information for the conference participants from her many years of work experience. Then Berdiyeva Ogulsabyr, senior teacher of TMDDI named after Dovelettmammamet Azadi, head of UNESCO club "Languages ​​of Peace", spoke. During his speech, he talked about the UNESCO Club, which was opened for the first time in the country. A student of TMDDI also spoke in English about the activities of the "Languages ​​of Peace" UNESCO club through the digital network. Then the active members of the UNESCO club "Ahalteke horses - envoys of peace" of the International Equestrian Academy named after Aba Annayev spoke in Turkmen and English languages. "Ahalteke horses - envoys of peace" spoke in detail about the many activities that have already been done in a short period of time at the UNESCO club, in particular, about the work that is being done to spread the reputation of the Akhalteke horses, which are the glory of the Turkmen people, to the world. Active members of the UNESCO clubs "Culture of Peace" of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and "Protection of the environment - an important concept of sustainable development" of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute gave the speeches during the meeting.
