Arkadag city, the first "smart" city in the region, has turned into a center for international educational and scientific cooperation. Organized by the International horse breeding academy named after Aba Annayev located in the city, an international internet olympiad titled "International Peace and Trust - the Foundation of Economic Development" was held.
This major educational competition was organized on the occasion of the glorious 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, and the "Year of International Peace and Trust". The olympiad brought together young talents from various corners of the world. A total of 535 students from 72 prestigious higher education institutions representing 15 countries participated and competed with each other.
The main feature distinguishing this olympiad from other competitions is that it is not limited solely to economic theory but also encompasses modern global issues. Specifically, the test questions presented to the students covered the following vital areas directly related to the "Green Deal" concept:

Macroeconomics.

World economy.

International economic relations.
The questions provided in these areas were aimed at evaluating not only the academic knowledge of the youth but also their comprehension of future environmentally clean and sustainable economic models.
The primary objective of the olympiad consisted of expanding the economic understanding of the younger generation while simultaneously advocating the necessity of strengthening global peace and trust. Furthermore, revealing the role of peace in economic development and fostering new, global economic thinking skills among students were established as key tasks. This international olympiad held in Arkadag city served as an important platform for youth to contribute to a sustainable future through education.
