Within the framework of the "Year of International Peace and Trust", under the wise leadership of our Hero Arkadag and our Arkadagly Hero Serdar, Turkmenistan is rapidly advancing towards new heights of development. As a result of the consistent efforts of our esteemed President, extensive opportunities are being created to establish cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of science and education with prestigious higher education institutions and research centers abroad. Consequently, international relations between Turkmenistan and the European Union are being strengthened in the field of science and education in our country.

The first meeting of the Green Deal for Central Asian Universities (GDCAU) project partners was held on May 12-13, 2025 at the Constructor University in Bremen, Germany. Representatives from Central Asian and European Union universities participated in this important event. A representative from the International horse breeding academy named after Aba Annayev also attended the meeting.

The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation and improve coordination within the project. Participants reviewed the progress of all ongoing activities, approved key milestones, and identified next steps.
The meeting focused on key strategic areas such as establishing Green Deal Centers, implementing new educational programs focused on sustainability, and strengthening cooperation with external partners. The face-to-face meeting provided an opportunity to help coordinate technical efforts and enhance collaboration between higher education institutions.
