Today, on November 12, as part of the events dedicated to the Harvest Festival, which is a festival of blessings and abundance, the opening ceremony of the modern Ahalteke horse breeding stable, intended for keeping 600 Ahalteke horses, was held near the International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex in the foothills of Kopetdag, not far from Arkadag city, the home of Ahalteke horses.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the construction of this facility was carried out by the private enterprise "Nur bina gurlushyk" on the order of the "Turkmen Atlary" State Association.
As those who spoke at the opening ceremony of the Ahalteke horse breeding stable noted, with the initiative of the Turkmen leader, regular measures are being taken to modernize the work of this industry, strengthen its material and technical base, increase the number of purebred horses, and strengthen international cooperation in this field.
These events are the result of the wonderful equestrian centers built in the capital and regions of the country, as well as the increasing popularity of Akhalteke horses and the breeders who dedicate their lives to their breeding. The total area of the modern stable is 15.4 hectares. The complex includes veterinary buildings equipped with advanced technologies for management, horse health monitoring, and stables.
In this stable, all the necessary opportunities have been created to increase the number of the world-famous pure-blooded Akhalteke horses, to preserve their breed purity, to carry out great work in the breeding and breeding of Akhalteke horses. Professors, instructors and students of the International horse breeding Academy named after Aba Annayev will organize practice classes in this modern stable.
The frequent holding of such weddings and celebration in a solemn manner promotes the development of agriculture and equestrian industry and raises the spirits of horse breeders and horse trainers.
