Under the prudent leadership of our Esteemed President, our country implements a dynamic and consistent foreign policy strategy and occupies a worthy place in the international relations system. The country's international reputation, which is of great importance in global and regional geopolitics, is continuously being strengthened. The Turkmenistan advocates the development of relations based on the implementation of equal and mutually beneficial cooperation with all countries of the world. As the National Leader of the Turkmen People Hero Arkadag noted, in this regard, Turkmenistan defines the comprehensive expansion of its relations with the economically developed countries of the world based on the principles of good neighborliness and wide-scale cooperation as one of the priorities of its foreign policy strategy.
As we all know, Turkmenistan and Turkey are countries with a rich historical and cultural heritage. The ancient friendly relations of the Turkmen and Turkic peoples are connected with the commonalities of historical and cultural traditions, bilateral trade and humanitarian relations, and the similarity of their views at the present time. Today, both states are pursuing a peaceful foreign policy, demonstrating their strong commitment to the principles of global peace and security, as well as social and economic development. In the new historical era, cooperation in important areas such as culture, education, and science acquired a qualitatively new meaning. Scientists of the two countries actively participate in scientific conferences held in Turkmenistan and Turkey, regularly organize concerts with the participation of artists, days of culture of the two peoples, and exhibitions related to practical art.
Recently, on October 26, conversations were held our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar and the President of the Republic of Turkey. This high-level meeting was an important event in the way of further strengthening and development of the Turkmen-Turkish relations, which are based on the commonality of the two brotherly peoples formed throughout history. On the occasion of this important event, on October 28, at the International horse breeding academy named after Aba Annayev, a grateful conference entitled "TURKMENISTAN-TURKEY: FRIENDLY RELATIONSHIPS AND EFFECTIVE COOPERATION" was held. In his speech at the "Turkmen-Turkish Business Conference", our Arkadagly Hero Serdar said, "Currently, the agricultural sector is one of the most important sectors of the economy. Our main task is to ensure the food security of our countries and to contribute to international efforts in this field," he said, noting that Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey have great opportunities for further development and deepening of cooperation, which is at the root of such great, unrepeatable, historical activities. They expressed their gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, who takes care of the international reputation of the state of Turkmenistan, who prioritizes the education, happy life, and happy future of the young generations in our country. They wished our Hero Arkadag, our Arkadagly Hero Serdar good health, long life, success in all great initiatives.
